Aïn Bourdaï, Baalbeck Region, North Bekaa Hills at the Western Slopes of the Anti-Lebanon… Altitude 1500m (On average!) which slows maturity and optimizes the sugar / acidity balance… Major exposure South –Ouest; Soil shallow in the rocky spots, calcareous (lime stone), pebbles and clay in some plots! Isolated terroir which favours the organic feature, being very distant from other vine cultures (low contamination with parasites and diseases)! Slopes, steep, preserved as is, favouring natural drainage and the poor structure in surface, forcing the roots to search deep layers for minerals, helping increase the freshness, maintain the wines colours, aromas development and vines hygiene…

The Mediterranean Blend Style by excellence! Agiorgetiko (from 5.000 vines) with 20% of the must, Mourvèdre (7.500 vines) 35% of the must, and Tempranillo (9.000 vines) remaining 45%…

2- Winemaking
Tank fermented, at 26˚C, medium to short maceration average 14 days, with early autumn Malo-Lactic, mild filtration and stabilisation, very low sulphur content…
3- Tasting Notes (Jan. 2023)
Robe Intense purple with a blue- violet fringe, clear, medium to light body
Nose 1st nosing gamy, mineral, with sumac hints; 2nd nosing red fruits, cherry notes & blackcurrant…
Palate soft tannins structure, fresh with a sweet to bitter balance, very elegant attack, complexity and a great value for this young vintage!
4- Serving Temperature & Hints…
16˚C to 18˚C present better its tannins/ acidity structure. Every day/ season wine, still very pleasant as a medium red summer glass. From a red aperitif to first courses companion, would really surprise the experts’ palates.
5- Decanting
Recommended for some 20 min.
6- Food Pairing
Lebanese hot mezzé, pizza (with cold cuts, chorizo…), red pasta sauce, mild cheeses, white flesh grills…
7- Aging Potential
4 to 5 years in a cellar, to witness a good and continuous evolution.
