Wajd Organic Sea Salt 500g – Coarse

WAJD sea salts are harvested in the salinas of Anfeh. This coastal village of Lebanon is home to ancient sea salt mines dating back to as far as 1400 B.C.
Salt production in Anfeh is carried out in a traditional and artisanal manner. WAJD’s sea salt is sun-dried, crystallized in natural sea salt ponds, carefully harvested using traditional wooden tools and then broken into smaller crystals. Once dried, salt is collected in bags, sorted and cleaned from any dust or impurities, weighed and packaged.
It is best used as a cooking salt. Use in a grinder or simply let the crystals fall on freshly cooked food.
